Vernissage Gallery is thrilled and honored to present an unparalleled exhibition Shalva Kikodze: Works From Private Collections.
The largest exhibition of the artist to date, we have put together some of the most important works by Shalva Kikodze (1894-1921), one of the most important artists of the XX century Georgia.
With very few surviving works, this is a first large scale presentation of works in private hands. Along with paintings and drawings we will present the archive of the artist: Letters, Exhibition Posters and Photographs.
Along with the exhibition Irine Abesadze and Ketevan Bagratishvili, two authorities on the artist will present their new book- Shalva Kikodze: Cultural Heritage.
The exhibition will open on December 5 and will remain on view till December 20.
