Vernissage Gallery is thrilled to present SOFIA VARAZI: SOLO EXHIBITION.

No appliqué, computer graphics, or other auxiliary means are used in these works. Everything is executed entirely by hand, using paint.

Stage 1. A composition is first developed on paper in pencil. The drawing is divided into условные zones, indicating the colors that will later be applied to each section.

Stage 2. A thin layer of watercolor and ink is applied.

Stage 3. The designated zones are then elaborated using silver and gold pens, as well as gold and silver gouache. Each individual detail is carefully worked, often in multiple layers (for example: ink/watercolor, gold or silver pencil, gouache).

Stage 4. Finally, the main composition is articulated with black ink; that is, a black background is created using ink.
