Vernissage Gallery is thrilled to present Temo Japaridze: Odysseus’s New Travel. Artist’s first solo exhibition with the gallery.

‘The main concept of the artist is created by a figure of a man in action standing on a wheel. Today Odysseus means a contemporary seeking person. That figure standing on the wheel drives here and there in the logical and illogical spaces. He seeks the invisible space beyond the form as well as the depths of various expressions of the being. Unlike Odysseus he tries to enter the inner human world. The sought concept is a simple pictorial feature. It is small and perceived with humor.

Picture is silent and innocuous. It is hung on the wall inconspicuously waiting for those people who are able to emphasize with the wordless emotions, those who avoid public hubbub and are seeking for the smile of inner essence of the world which means a simple but unselfish love.’
